The accommodation is great, can't fault it, nice access and views/location looking out across the Farne islands. Our second visit for us to this property. During our stay there was maintenance works being carried out on the balconies which made them unusable for our stay due to wet paint and also had to keep the windows closed due to paint fumes. We had priory notice of this but didn't expect it to take the time it did, fed this back to customer services and awaiting a reply from them before we rebook as this is a big selling point to booking the property for our stay.

The apartment which is very close to the sea is well-situated with a wonderful view of the Farne Islands. It was a quiet spot and a good location for exploring the northeast coast. By and large, we would not have chosen Seahouses to stay; there were other villages which were far more picturesque.

We had a lovely week in this apartment, starting nice & early on Christmas Eve when we received a call from the Housekeeping Team at 2:30 to say that the apartment was now checked & ready for us to move in. We found the apartment to be nice and clean, welcomingly warm and very nicely appointed (once we'd worked out which additional button on the keypad to press to actually open the entrance door!) The views out to sea were stunning (helped my magnificent weather) and the convenient location so close to the village centre meant that food shopping & pub visiting was all in easy walking distance so the car only went out twice during our week. Although more expensive that the properties that we usually stay in we felt that with the advantages this apartment provided we still considered it to be good value for money and would certainly consider staying here again.
