First class accommodation and lovely location opposite the fantastic beach. Cannot fault the property. Couple of small suggestions which would be really useful for new arrivals Perhaps have a brief 'quick start' reference sheet on how to operate the hob, heating and fire. This would save having to go through the user manuals provided. Also took a while to find the main bins which are located on the road at the back of the property via the rear gate. Otherwise a lovely holiday all round. Thank you.

Cottage was lovely and very clean. ,Bathrooms especially were excellent Parking was difficult a big drive but blocked off with posts so unable to pull off and on easy and onto the main road Bedding pillows and duvets were not the best very thin and flat pillows more luxurious bedding would improve the sleep quality A small welcome pack would be a nice touch as in fresh milk, bread, eggs, wine etc as most places do offer this Ideal location for this coastline and all in all a good cottage would return but take my own pillows! For the price some extra little touches wouldnt go a miss

Lovely cottage in a great location near Bamburgh village, the castle, and just across the dunes from the beach. The back gate was broken when we arrived, but I messaged the agent and it was mended within a couple of hours. The garden could do with a bit of maintenance lots of weeds coming through the gravel and maybe some plants to make it more appealing. It says on Sykes that dogs are allowed, but the house rules in the cottage state no dogs on furniture or in the bedrooms this should really be on the Sykes page so people are aware before booking.

Fabulous property in an excellent location, very comfortable and well equipped. Had a few issues which we emailed Sykes about several times and got no response so contacted management company who were great and got everything sorted out courteously and promptly.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at 18 Bambourgh Dunes. The layout and facilities were excellent.Having two bathrooms with both showers and toilets was a great bonus.It was extremely comfortable and peaceful.We parked the car in the garage overnight.The fantastic beach is just a 15 minute walk away with access to the dunes across the road in front of the cottage. A marvellous cottage in a beautiful part of the country.

Had a lovely week at Bamburgh Dunes . The accommodation was excellent and very clean throughout . Finished to a high standard , comfy beds , lovely bathrooms . The kitchen is well equipped , hob was a little temperamental but we worked it out . Off road parking Perfect for dogs The location is excellent ,straight across the road , over the dunes and on to the beautiful Bamburgh beach or nice coastal walk to seahouses . We enjoyed an excellent holiday very clean and comfortable. The outside area is nice but a few tubs of plants flowers would look nice and a sun lounger would be good The location is excellent for the beautiful beach and in easy walking distance to Bamburgh and Seahouses. We would definitely stay again.

Must be good weve booked again for next year! Would love you to take the bollards down as we had two cars. Garden needs a good weed, or areas need weed killing. Looks very untidy. Bungalow facilities very good, hence why we have rebooked, lovely area.

Lovely place to stay with stunning view of the castle. Disappointed there was not a welcome pack such as milk, cakes, bread and wine or local produce.

The location was superb and the inside of property itself was fab, clean, comfortable, modern and well equipped. The only thing I would mention inside is a lack of drawers for clothes in the main bedroom. The accommodation itself should deserve a 5 star rating however it was let down by the outside. There were weeds everywhere at the front and back of the property and the entrance to the garage where the washing machine was kept was filthy with webs and dead spiders all over the windows and doors. Also there is easily room on the drive for 2 cars but 2 bars have been put up preventing a 2nd car to access the drive. I would definitely return to this property but the owners need to address the outside issues to allow this to have the 5 star rating it deserves.

Absolutely beautifully presented cottage almost in the shadow of Bamburgh Castle, everything we needed was provided, cottage is light, airy and very comfortable, very clean, information on utilities is provided. Located just across the main Bamburgh to Seahouses Road and a short walk across the dunes to the sea. Suggest reversing onto drive as it is certainly safer than reversing out onto road! Great location in a lovely part of the U.K. Beaches, Castles, wide open countryside, a fabulous holiday destination.

The property is beautifully appointed and in an ideal location. Could do with additional parking on the driveway as part of the outside space is blocked off. Had a lovely stay and would certainly return.

We had a wonderful week, the bungalow was in a perfect location across the road from sand dunes and beach. Only 10 mins walk into Bamburgh itself. Lovely and quiet area. Inside the bungalow was decorated lovely and the bed was extremely comfortable. Wouldnt hesitate to stop again

We had a great week staying at Bamburgh dunes. The house is perfect for a short break away. Positioned opposite the sand dunes, so there was easy access to the beach our dog had a wonderful time. House is lovely and has a secure garden. It could benefit from better curtains in the bedrooms to block out the early morning light but is well equipped with everything you could need. Its a short, flat walk into town, with the most wonderful starry skies at night. I would highly recommend this property and would stay again.

The property is immaculate noexpense spared. And so much space. Just a little point, there was no leaflet explaining the appliances or how to operate the heating although when we had juggled about with it and got it working was extremely efficient. Plenty of cupboard space in the kitchen and a wonderfully large fridge and freezer.The 2 walk in showers were lovely and the bed was large and very comfortable. In the kitchen the owners had even provided some washing up gloves but a dish drainer would have been nice as it was always a bit messy to have drain the dishes directly on the unit. All in all I was very impressed with everything. But no visitors book to make our comments! I would certainly recommend this property .

Lovely property and ideal position. One or two things need to be addressed to make the stay perfect. There is no information pack to show how to use the fire, the hobwhich we couldnt use, instructions for the heating timer, and bin collection information. The welcome pack could have been better with fresh milk provided. Unfortunately when we arrived, before we let our dog into the back, I discovered that the space had not been cleared of doggie deposits . Very disappointed by that. Would have been good if the parking posts could be lowered . We enjoyed our stay and will look forward to staying again next time we visit Bamburgh.

Perhaps a lamimate near the washing machine to remind everyone to turn off the dryer. It was not turmed off when we arrived. Feedback to be published excellent condition comfortable sofa and master bed. Kitchen had everything we needed. Bathrooms were very clean and to high specification. Would def reccommend anyone to stay here!

Couldnt believe how good the inside was to the outside whats with all the weeds we had to climb over them to get to the washer in the garage they were at the front door. The grates were full of leaves . A information booklet would have been very helpful it took us a bit to work out how to work the hob . UHT for the welcome pack , I wouldnt bother

Fantastic location with lovely modern house. Great beds and showers! However no washing machine per listing and house itself needed a better clean I.e. dirty oven and fridge, dog hairs over floor. House and gardens just need a bit of care.

Well equipped, clean, great for small children and dogs, really appreciated the high chair and travel cot.

The house is in a lovely position and well kitted out but the reason I have given it a low rating is it smelt of urine! ! On the last day I spoke to the owner who said his wife had been contacted by the cleaners a week or so ago to say they had come in to clean and it stink of urine. The smaller of the two sofas was unusable due to the smell! Apparently a previous rental had a dog.

A lovely situated cottage with easy access to the beach and surrounding facilities. The cottage matched its description on line The key safe mechanism needs some maintenance as it took me over 10 minutes to get the keys out. I was in the process of ringing the company to get help. The garden could do with a bit of TLC Otherwise a perfect place to stay. Will try and get booked again!!!

A lovely, warm and comfortable bungalow in a great position, perfect for access to the dunes for walks to the beach and castle. Easy parking and good to have a secure garden at the back for the dog. The sensor night lights are a great idea. I would suggest a brief note on working the appliances it took a bit of head scratching to figure out the hob at first and maybe the boiler settings. And a draining rack for washing up would have been handy. But these are very minor things in a very well equipped property. Overall, one of the best homes we've stayed in.

Absolutely fabulous

I would have liked a smaller teapot, cups and saucers and a milk jug. A radio would also have been nice. The welcome pack was abysmal practically non existent. Other properties provide so much more such as fresh milk, bread, butter, jam, cereals etc plus sometimes sometimes a bottle of wine. However, a lovely comforable bungalow which is very quiet and peaceful.

Had a really enjoyable stay at Bamburgh Dunes. The location is excellent with direct access to the dunes and beach. The accommodation is well equipped and very comfortable. We found the beds were perfect and we were able to enjoy a very good night's sleep. Linen was good quality especially the soft thick towels. We had our dog with us and the layout and garden were 1st class. Already booked to return thanks.

We had a wonderful stay in Bamburgh Dunes. The property was beautifully maintained and spotlessly clean. We did a lot of walking and it was a lovely place to come back and relax in. Would definitely stay here again.

Cleaners turned up 10 minutes after we had arrived. Thi is unacceptable. dishwasher did not work properlyfood did not wash off. CHeating control was v low on batteries.V mean welcome packwho wants. long life milk sachets these days

We had a wonderful stay in a beautiful property, very well equipped and perfect for walks every day. We did however have a problem trying to work the hob on the oven and their was no instructions on how to use any of the equipment, we muddled through after making a phone call, I do think their should be a file with all of this information in along with important telephone numbers for Dr's, vets etc. Also places to eat and visit would have been a great asset to the holiday let. Apart from that the stay was fantastic. Thank you.
