We had a fantastic stay at Little Tern. It was booked as a final trip with our dog and son as we had just found out the dog had aggressive terminal cancer. Her favourite place in the world was Bamburgh beach. Sadly she passed away just a few days before our trip. Our son also decided not to come as he had just moved out. Just the two of us, it was the perfect antidote to everything that was going on around us. It was so relaxing. A wonderful garden with great outside furniture, the beach a short drive away and very peaceful surroundings. It was a real wrench to leave! I would love to know what type of mattress is in the front bedroom nearest the living room as it was SO comfy! I did ask my husband to check but he forgot. I don't sleep very well usually by the bed was heaven!. Would to love to come back and stay here again sometime as we are usually in that area at least once a year.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Little Tern. The cottage and the surrounding dwellings are built from local stone which is very attractive. The cottage itself is full of character and decorated tastefully. It is spacious and contains everything one needs. The little courtyard garden is a very pleasant place to sit in and enjoy an evening drink. One is able to walk from the cottage into the town.

Little Tern Cottage is a little gem tucked away on a quiet cul de sac on the outskirts of Seahouses. It has everything you could wish for, is very well equipped and l can recommend it without hesitation. I can't wait to go back!

Beautiful and well maintained cottage in a lovely courtyard with similar properties. Everything you need is in the cottage, comfy bed, heating, fully equipped kitchen including washerdryer and dishwasher and your own garden with patio furniture. Very clean and nicely decorated.
