Shearwater Reviews

Michael
Good location and very well equipped
Ian
Its a good location for seahouses as its only half mile to harbour. Three decent sized bedrooms with comfortable beds. A bit light on kitchen equipment if there is 6 of you. Very easy walking distance from the centre and harbour. A good place to stay but could be a little bit better with more cutlery and drinking and eating equipment. Reply from holidaycottages.co.uk: Thank you for letting us know about the low inventory, please know we are putting more stock in ready for future stays!
Leonard
Very well equipped property, good location, very comfortable. We had a lovely two weeks and thoroughly enjoyed it. An excellent base for exploring the Northumberland attractions of which there are many.
Mark
Great location in a quiet residential cul-de-sac a short walk to the shops/pubs/eateries. And Seahouses itself is a lovely spot to stay.
Robert
A great cottage with everything you could need, a real home from home. The cottage is in a lovely quiet position within a short walk into town. Our family loved our holiday and the area. Thankyou.
Jodie
Perfect property in a perfect location. The street was really quiet and loved sitting and listening to the birds. Parking was really easy. Location wise, the property is a really short walk from the village and a great base for exploring. We packed a lot into the week: Cragside, Edinburgh, Alnwick, Craster, Embelton, Lindisfarne & Bamburgh. Some recommendations from us: Turnbulls on Alnwick, the sausage rolls were spot on! The Horseshoe in Rennington, fantastic food and service. Jolly Fisherman in Craster. Perfect location looking over the sea and wonderful food. Elan's Pizzeria in Seahouses, a 5 min walk from the property. Lovely food and friendly staff (we ate here twice). We had the most amazing time and we hope to come back soon!
Geraldine

Good location with off street parking. Comfortable for two with sunny conservatory for breakfast and outside seating. Hot water is just a trickle but electric shower ok. Poor quality cutlery.
Rachel
Wonderful bungalow in a really peaceful location. Everything was fabulous, luxury bedlinen and towels. Five minutes walk to Seahouses centre. It had everything you needed on holiday and had spacious living accommodation. Loved the conservatory. Wonderful beach walks every day and fish and chips at Lewisâ??s were delicious!

The cottage is lovely and comfortable, a really quiet spot, with the conservatory a super spot to sit in. A few minutes walk to the shops and with glorious beaches on both sides of Seahouses, a beautiful place to recharge and enjoy the wonder of Northumberland.
