We had a great stay at Sunnie Cottage and found it extremely warm and comfortable considering the cold spell we experienced during our stay. The cottage was very well equipped with everything we needed for our family of 2 adults, 2 children and cocker spaniel. Were already planning our return visit. Whilst we struggled a little with the water pressure, this wasnt enough to impact our holiday and well definitely be back
Everything about Sunnie cottage was lovely, comfortable especially the bed, clean and well equipped. Location was great, really close to harbour, pub, fresh fish shop, main street shops and coastal paths both north and south. One small problem was in the upstairs bathroom where there was no hot water running into the wash hand basin. Otherwise all was good.
Our third time at Sunnie Cottage, everything was perfect as usual. Had a great holiday.

Just returned from another great Holiday at Sunnie Cottage. We have been going there for a number of years and always enjoy our stay. The Cottage is always clean and comfortable and in a wonderful position to enjoy Seahouses.
Just returned from a lovely week at Sunnise Cottage. Superb dog friendly location in Seahouses just minutes from the harbour & coastal path. We had everything we needed in the cottage and appreciated the extras including the welcome bottle of wine & chocolate cookies provided by Rona. Hoping to return next year to do some puffin watching!

We had a very relaxing stay in the cottage. It is very close to the harbour and local amenities. The rooms are very clean and spacious and the living room easily accommodated five people and a labrador. I recommend this cottage.

Me, my parents, son and small dog stayed for 7 nights at the beginning of July. Rona had left a welcome pack of milk, crisps, biscuits and wine which was greatly appreciated and a lovely start to the holiday. The cottage was well equipped and furnished beautifully the beds were so comfortable! We were lucky with the weather so had a great week of walking. The sunset looking from the harbour over to Bamburgh Castle was definitely a highlight. Rona was in contact before the holiday and available during our stay if needed. We didnt have a problem with parking as each cottage is aware of their allocated spaces I would highly recommend the cottage and would definitely book again if staying in Seahouses.

We have just returned from a week stay in this lovely cottage. Sunnie Cottage is well positioned for exploring the area or just sitting watching the activities in the harbour. The parking is a slight challenge but nothing we couldnt master yes the parking area is tight but again everyone sharing the courtyard was aware of this and parked with care. The cottage itself is very clean and freshly decorated with quality furnishings. The bathrooms have good showers. The kitchen was well kitted out with a welcome pack. Would we stay there again? YES most definitely, thank you for a great trip.

Mon to Fri break on this beautiful coast. Sunnie cottage is perfect. You'll be met with a very stylish fisherman's cottage. Tastefully furnished throughout. Beds are extremely comfortable and the added bonus of the 2nd bathroom makes morning much easier. Kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. We ate in 2 out of 4 nights. Parking is no problem there is space out the back for every property to park one car. Rona couldn't do enough for us to make our stat as pleasurable as possible. The little outside seating area is a great sun trap.

Very dog friendly place to visit Luna soon cottoned on to how a lot of the shops gave well behaved dogs a treat! We were very lucky with the weather A trip to Farne Island to see the puffins and the seals was brilliant We would definitely stop here again

We really enjoyed our 5 night stay at Sunnie cottage! A lovely, well appointed holiday home with lots of great features, plenty of space & close to restaurants, pubs & the sea! The Christmas tree & thoughtful welcome pack put us in the festive mood.... A wonderful pre Christmas treat!

A lovely well looked after cottage with everything that we needed supplied. Kitchen was well equipped and we appreciated the wine and biscuits and our dog liked his biscuits too. Cottage was well appointed in a quiet area but also so close to harbour and local amenities.We were very happy and had an excellent time

If I were returning to Northumberland I would choose to stay at Sunnie Cottage and would recommend it without hesitation. The property is in a great location only a minute from your door to the harbour if that! The beds are very comfy and a spacious living room with plenty of seating. Would definitely recommend staying here! There is parking round the back which can be quite tight if you have a big car as on the street theres an arch you have to go through to access parking. But you can always park up against the wall round the back which would be easier instead of outside the cottage
One of the best cottages we've stayed in. Fantastic location, very comfortable and well equipped. We felt very relaxed and could have stayed for much longer. Harbour 2 mins away, great cliff walks 2 mins away. Lots of great beaches within walking distance short drive away. Great choice of food a few mins walk away in Seahouses. All this despite atrocious weather in April.

We had a lovely week at Sunnie Cottage. It is very comfortable and very conveniently positioned for all the local amenities. The communications from the owner were excellent as were the welcome gifts !
Absolutely lovely little cottage in a quiet part of Seahouses. Everything has been thought of in terms of equipment and comfort. Parking is quite tight especially if all the other cottages in the courtyard are in use but I would definitely recommend this cottage, it is absolutely lovely.

The property was very clean and comfortable with everything you would need, very much a home from home. Only a few steps away from Seahouses harbour, the cottage is perfectly located for you to explore and enjoy the local area. Great cottage. Location is ideal....close to harbour and main street. Having a parking space provided is a real bonus as these are few and fair between in that part of town. We stayed during the big freeze and it was more than warm enough. Kitchen had everything you could need. Nespresso machine and pods a bonus! Thanks very much for the lovely welcome gifts...we will be back!! Recommend it.
Sunnie Cottage is situated within metres of the sea front, which was, for us, perfect, as we spend a lot of time on the beach. The cottage has everything you would need for a pleasant stay. I would recommend adding a small folder containing basic instructions for use of such as washerdryer, dishwasher, heating, TV and video. All other cottages I've stayed in include this. Without this it becomes a matter of trial and error of button pushing, which isn't good for the electrical item you're using. Beds are very comfortable. Heating settings were fine for us, but I wouldn't have known how to change them if needed. Overall a very pleasant stay with a helpful and friendly host. Thank you!

Lovely cottage in a great location for exploring Northumberland, everything we needed was supplied and all the rooms were spotless. We travelled there by train, and used the local buses great once we had cracked the timetable!!

The location of Seahouses is perfect for exploring castles , beaches etc Bamburgh is a jewel and the beach stunning especially in the evening for boarding in the deserted setting Magic ! !! The harbour cottage is perfect for older children to wander off to shops, for ice cream or slot machines ! We have had a lovely time at Sunnie Cottage the location is so close to the harbour with amazing sunsets and very central to all that Seahouses has to offer. The beds are small but very comfortable and the cottage is well equipped with everything that you need. The area is fantastic for walking and we managed to go on four separate circular walks from Seahouses. The boat trip to the Farne Islands was fantastic as we were so blessed with the weather. There are quite a few places to eat in Seahouses and we would recommend the restaurant of the caravan park accessed via the main car park. Good food at good value. Unfortunately we had an overpriced and very average meal in the Bamburgh Castle Inn so would not recommend. On Thursday night there is a quiz night in the Schooner Inn pub which is very close to the cottage and this was such good fun. Thank you to the owners of Sunnie Cottage 5 friends had a fabulous week!
