The Workers Cottage Reviews

Barbara Lisa
Great cottage perfect
Paul
A great little cottage in a fantastic location. One of the best equipped places we have stayed, lots of plates, cups etc (some places are very stingy with this) even a coffee machine. The free supply of logs was a welcome surprise, the log burner was on every night! Parking was the only downside having to park across the road but it wasnâ??t exactly a chore to be fair. We would certainly recommend staying her.
David
Lovely wee cottage, very well presented and spotlessly clean, had everything we needed and was in a nice quiet location 10 minutes all from the village centre.
Harriet
The cottage was so welcoming on arrival. It was comfortable and beautifully furnished and equipped. We felt immediately at home and found the cottage a wonderful base from which to explore the area and to which we returned with delight. We were so grateful for all the recommendations as to places for eating, exploring and walks. Those we tried were spot on.
Kenneth
Cottage was immaculate. Clearly a recent total renovation . Stairway was steep and narrow with a tight bend, so would not suit everyone. There was no problem with street parking. Would be very happy to return.
William
Couldn't recommend the cottage highly enough.Cosy, convenient, good location.Everything provided for a comfortable stay.
Steve
Spotless, very well equipped with everything you need for a self catering holiday. Although the garden is separate, it's very well kept and only just up through the courtyard. Where other owned properties are located, but very friendly people.!! Great location only a 10 minute walk to the centre of seahouses and if needed a bus stop directly outside the property. Would definitely stay again.
June
Stayed a week at The Workers Cottage, lovely home thoughtfully decorated. Everything provided to make our week relaxing. Ideal location to Northumberland coast, flat walk into Seahouses. Quiet area with kind neighbours. Sat in the garden a few time in the evening, big piece of ground for our dog. Day at the beach was great as seats provided, and much more. Very clean and tidy. Definitely stay here again.
Jason
Very comfortable and modernized cottage for the 3 of us. A great location for Seahouses, and pretty central for Northumberland. Bamburgh castle a must see too and so close.
Andrew
Very comfortable fully equipped cottage in an excellent location. Separate garden was a nice touch and great fun for the dog to run about in
Friederike
A very comfortable, clean and well equipped cottage to explore the Northumbrian coast. We discovered the footpath from North Lane to the sea by accident and it would be great if there was a book in the cottage, where one could leave hints like this for future guests.
Hannah
comfortable clean and very well equipped
Gerard
Clean cosy well maintained and managed cottage . Sea Houses is a great place to stay ,Great beaches all dog friendly . Boat trips available .Plenty of sunshine in garden .Good place to stay for Coastal Walks etc,
Michelle
Lovely cottage but very low ceilings in bedrooms in which heads were regularly bumped, and bathroom is downstairs.
Jane
Lovely comfortable cottage located just an 8 min walk outside the main centre of Seahouses. Well equipped kitchen, very comfortable large bed. I would definitely recommend the cottage.
Sarah
Very comfortable, clean, well equipped cottage in a quiet location perfectly situated for enjoying the local coastal area. Milk, cookies & drinks provided were much appreciated. Enjoyed sitting in the propertyâ??s garden just up the lane for a cuppa and relaxing in the cosy lounge after the dayâ??s exploring. The description does state that both bedrooms are in the eaves and so if tall like me care needs to be taken accessing the beds and chests of drawers.
Steve
The cottage is lovely and to be admired for utilising all available space but the fixtures were very poor we would not stay there again
Elizabeth
Very nice cottage itâ??s comfortable and well equipped and its location is ideal for all the tourist attractions. We enjoyed our visit very much.
Timothy
We had a wonderful time staying here. It was the perfect size for our little family and we found it to be relaxing and peaceful. Itâ??s a great location - just 10 minutes to walk into Seahouses and to see the sea. Itâ??s also perfect for exploring this section of the Northumberland coast. We were grateful for the provisions for our little one (travel cot + a range of high chairs). I cannot say enough good things about the stay - cosy, restful, perfect. We would stay again.
Allan
Really enjoyed our stay here. The cottage was excellent and just what we were after. We hadn't been to this area before and loved the fantastic beaches as did Rosie our cockapoo. We were very impressed with the whole area and will look to return with all the family in the future.
