Perfect location for a lovely long weekend

Comfortable, clean and everything we needed.

We stayed at Ahoy back in 2017 for a short break, loved it then and loved it even more for our 2 weeks holiday this year, already booked for 2025. Love the location and everything about this property. would recommend it to anyone looking for a holiday in Seahouses.

Cannot fault the inside of the cottage, but the outside letter box and bin could be made more attr attractive.

We would like to say the location is excellent and outside very welcome but bbq unclean and unusable and distinct lack of bbq tools The central heating &lounge fire was very welcome & worked well however it should be mentioned the twin bedroom is more suitable for children than adults. Main bedroom shower is extremely small for average sized adultson our arrival we were disappointed to find the mugs in kitchen badly stained ..some saucepans were unclean inside The china and cutlery are showing definite signs of wear. The twin room supplied only one bath sheet between two adults,along with two small hand towels. The Henry hoover under the stairs when we used it smelled dreadfully and there were no replacement hoover bags We were disappointed to find only a dribble of washing up liquid and 4 toilet rolls for the house for four adults for a week plus a very few sheets of kitchen roll. It should be mentioned my tall husband cut his forehead on the dining table light it happened when he was laying the table. We all felt the combination of the above mentioned things rather took the shine off of our stay at Ahoyand the cleaners of Ahoy could easily rectify these oversights Signed Mr and Mrs Hilary & Mr and Mrs Dorks

Well situated comfortable property. Easy walk into Seahouses . Well equipped . High kitchen cupboards made it difficult for me but Im only 5 ft! . A little more attention to dusting would be good for example the light over the dining table and skirting boards but overall we really enjoyed our stay .

Only minor issues, sound on tv needs attention, 2 keys would be helpful when 4adults are staying. We found the property very comfortable and extremely convenient for access to the town. We would definitely recommend it to anyone thinking of staying in Seahouses and would stay there again.

A really enjoyable week in a very comfortable home. I do like Hornsea pottery but would have preferred proper dinner plates and pasta bowls rather than the small oval plates and bowls. Also better selection of pans. I look forward to returning to Ahoy next year.
