Lovely warm and comfortable house, well equipped and lots of space for different generations, study brilliant for teenager who unfortunately had exams and homework and a games room which was very popular. The kitchen was great to use and generously equipped for larger groups, the fridge freezer was a hit with all because of its space and of course the ice dispenser! It was the best house we have rented for a long time, quiet but handy for the beach and town. Highly recommended

Fabulous place. Great location looking over fields. Sun trap if itâ??s warm. Really big house. Everything you would need. Only 2 of us but would be great for many more. 3 rooms downstairs for tv privacy. Huge bedrooms upstairs. One of the finest ever. Hotel open for food or drinks next door. New bar 100 yards away but really peaceful location. Recommended.

We booked the cottage for a family celebration and found it to be very well equipped and ideally located for the beach and village. Unfortunately the weather was appalling with gales, snow and then rain meaning we had to stay indoors more than planned. Here the size of the house came in useful with plenty of space to spread out, numerous TVs and games for children.

This is a truly lovely, spacious house to stay in for a really enjoyable holiday break, located perfectly for access to both the village centre and the sandy beach, being midway between both, only a 5 to 10 minute walk from each. I am extremely pleased to recommend as we have just enjoyed another holiday there.

We had a great two weeks at Beach Plaice. The cottage is clean, spacious and a perfect base for families or large groups to explore Northumberland. We took a boat trip from the harbour a few minutes walk away and enjoyed microlight flights over the county. Thereâ??s lots of wildlife, castles, walks, beachesâ?¦ and plenty of friendly locals.

Beach Plaice is an ideal holiday let for all the family. The house had plenty of space and my granddaughters enjoyed having their own playroom. There were easy walks to the beach in one direction and into Seahouses in the other. We didn't travel far all week as Seahouses has everything you need. Highly recommended.

We returned to Beach Plaice for the second time and Iâ??m glad to say it was just as good as our first stay. A brilliant view of the sheep in the field each morning while sat outside having coffee.Ideally situated for exploring Seahouses and beyond.Would definitely recommend staying here.
