Beach View is a stunning property, exceedingly comfortable and in a fabulous location overlooking Combe Martin Beach. Our three generations of family plus 6 month old puppy, have all loved our stay , and found the village and the locals super friendly and helpful. Lots to do but we were happy messing around on the water paddle boarding and kayaking, before returning to our outstanding accommodation. The only thing I would suggest is some kind of shade provided on the terrace, an umbrella or awnings.

Just back from a fantastic holiday at Beach View with my family 6 adults, one child and 2 small dogs this acvomodation has everything you need from the fantastic view to the comfort of the rooms and intetior was perfect too. We had a couple of small issues when we arrived but one phone call and these things were sorted in no time at all everyone was so friendly and helpfull it was just lovely. I highly recommend this property for a stunning family holiday.

Firstly, I want to say that we really enjoyed our holiday at Beach View. The views from the house are stunning. The house itself is very well equipped. There are however a few reservations. The drive up to it is horrendous. The track is only just wide enough for a car, with one bend needing you to reverse and start off again to get around it. . I don't know what would have happened if we had met someone coming the opposite way. The car parking outside the house is interesting, though with very careful parking we did manage to get 4 large cars there. The house, I think, would be more suited to 6 people with one of the 2 downstairs bedrooms being a snug. There are only 6 seats in the lounge area. We were fortunate that the weather was so good we spent a lot of time out doors. The last is a safety issue with the microwave. I am 5 ft tall and there is not way I could have put any liquid into the microwave, let alone get it out when hot. It was all over my head. Even the men in the family found it a bit of an issue. I think you need to be young and fit in order to walk up and down the hill to the beaches. It is not far, but coming back up was a struggle, My husband and I are nearer 80 I did manage to walk up it once, but only once.

What a fabulous place to spend a great week fully equipped and great to have essentials such as tea, coffee, sugar, saltpepper etc. Clair housekeeper was great last minute we needed to take a dog and it was no problem fab dog goodies! Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Views amazing and we found keeping the doors windows open with the screen kept the inside cool we had a fabulous hot week. Guest book has lots of suggestions Sandy Cove hotel lovely my goddaughter got married there hence our trip so check before going that there isnt a wedding as I think they book it out. We found the drive up and down the lane straightforward better than expected and a good walk to the beach, the road surface is tarmac so easy to walk. Situated right on the coastal walking path was great and we loved Combe Martin, quiet with a real community feel. Everyone was really friendly! Id really recommend Beach View as a place to stay! Fantastic place to stay, stunning views of the bay, cleanliness was perfect, every little detail was thought of even down to a selection of cakes in the fridge! Only a couple of very minor things, could do with some sort of blind on the large glass doors as the heat is very intense and if you are a dog owner the decking gets very hot so your dogs paws might suffer in the heat of the day, other than that perfect. Clair the housekeeper did an amazing job! Will will be back at some point.

The views from the property were amazing and although initially daunted by the walk into the village, found that we tackled it twice a day, with no problems from an unfit 60 lady! !. The cakes and doggy treats were a welcome bonus and the property was well stocked kitchen had literally everything we could think of, and lots of it, plus there was a well stocked games cupboard. Two little pointers as others have said, we stayed over half term, during a heat wave. We could only find one fan, so both upstair bedrooms were unbearable for sleeping, and the huge glass window in the living space, meant it was like living in a greenhouse again unbearable. Secondly, the outside decking was impossible to walk on by about lunch time, so the dog and baby had to constantly be followed around the decking carried so that they didnt burn their feet. Having said that, its a beautiful property and we would stay again if we were in that area unlikely we would face another heatwave as we normally go away at Easter!! Stunning home with beautiful views, we barely turned the tv on. We all enjoyed the hot tub. Plenty of pots, pans, crockery etc. Super comfy beds and lovely soft towels. Just be aware the garden isnt 100 secure if you have a curious dog and the drive up to the property is steep and narrow if you have a large car. Really enjoyed our stay here.

Superb holiday cottage with magnificent views. Perfect location for the beach. The place was spotless and exceeded expectations. There is a narrow road up to the property but it didnt cause us an issue. Parking for 3 cars. The kitchen was very well equipped. The housekeeper was very helpful and kept in touch during the week. Would love to stay again.

View from the accommodation is fantastic, even better when sitting out in chairs on the decking. Well equipped and comfortable. Nice touches for the dogs. Prewarning of the narrow road up to the house was welcome as its very narrow but you get used to it. Easy reach to centre of Coombe Martin. Very welcoming local community, especially at the Premier shop . Minor issues rectified quickly. Oven was a bit greasy but this is a minor observation. Only downside is that it must get really hot in the summer as the sun will come directly into the accommodation. We noticed this in October. Could do with some blinds. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely recommend it!

Absolutely fantastic place. We had such a an amazing time the weather helped of course, who'd have thought you'd get sunburnt in October! Stunning location, views, walks all around. The steep climb back up to the property from the village helped us burn off a few calories, we went in the sea several times, and the hot tub every day. Can't fault it really but being picky, I'd suggest a blind or window cover for the lounge picture window. The views are fantastic but the sun can be very hot and conversely when you want a cosy night in after dark it can feel a little exposed. Housekeeper Clair was really helpful. Would definitely return!

What an excellent property. The incredible views and the openplan living are matched by the comfort of the rooms. Great bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen made for a 5star stay. The welcome pack and extra information were an added bonus. The housekeeper Clair kept in contact regarding any issues with our stay and the cleanliness of the property was faultless. Couldnt recommend this highly enough.

Absolutely beautiful views from the house ,perfect location for sandy cove hotelwedding venue ,where my daughter got married whilst away had an amazing time ,hot tub perfect for relaxing .

What an amazing property, well catered for above and beyond, even for or 1 and 2 year old. Children's plates & cutlery, highchair, fitted stair gate, even small things like pegs, washing basket, box to place shoes and fans nightlights. The wonderful welcome gift of Scones & Cream. The views breathtaking. Definitely got fit over the 2 weeks, with daily walks to the village for an ice cream and to visit Bobbies Bakes. Truly the best holiday accommodation I have had in years.

Great House and location with only a five minute walk down a steep hill into the village and beach our two dogs were secure too in the small back garden all so good we've booked for 2026 !

Great property spacious, immaculate, equiped with everything you need and things you dont realise you do need! Beds really comfy. Showers fab! The only thing we did think would enhance our stay would be a fan for the bedrooms and some blankets for sitting out on the glorious blanket on an evening. Top marks for Clair housekeeper for her quick response to our queries.

Lovely house in a perfect location. Ideal for fellow guest with mobility issues. Kitchen had all the items you could need, but could have a large tea pot to cater for the number of guests. Great dog walking in the local area, but a climb back up the hill afterwards, good cardiac workout ! Fabulous week, with nice goodies when we arrived

Really enjoyed our stay. Everything in the accommodation that was needed and more probably needs a mop adding. Will definitely consider booking again View's where absolutely stunning from every room and hot tub was brilliant.

Beautiful holiday home, ideal location overlooking the sea. Extremely well appointed throughout, warm and comfortable. There was a problem with the Hot Tub when we arrived as the water was a bit green, but this was sorted very quickly, just meant we couldn't use it on the first day, which was not a major issue. Would have been good if it had been checked prior to us arriving though. The home looked as it had been recently fully refurbished, which was excellent. Everything is extremely high quality. The only bit of feedback would be to let people know that the access road is very narrow and steep. It is tricky to navigate by car, a lot of care is needed. We were only told about this once we had booked, and as one of our party is in a wheelchair, pushing her up the steep road was difficult. Again, it would have been good to know beforehand, but it didn't spoil our holiday, we just burnt off a few extra Christmas pounds walking back!

We have had a fantastic stay at Beach View . The house has everything you could need and is spotlessly clean. . The little personal touches such as decorating for Christmas. a cake and mince pies on arrival and the basket with dog treats really do mean so much . We would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful property . The views are amazing and the hot tub was the icing on the cake . Thank you .

Fantastic property completed to a very high standard. it was clean, warm, airy and had all the desired modcons. We felt very at home. The view across the Cove was amazing ... highly recommended

Beautifully kept and maintained property. The owner has made every effort to ensure guests have everything they are likely to need for a comfortable stay. Must also mention the communication from the Housekeeper informing us that the house would be ready early if we wanted to get there sooner and advised about the town firework display in case we wanted to take precautions if we had a nervous dog.

Great place to stay with amazing view. Fixtures and fittings excellent would thoroughly recommend.

This was a fabulous house with everything you could need. The views were stunning. The road leading to it and the parking was a bit tricky but all in all a beautiful place to stay.

We had a wonderful time at Beach View, everything you could possibly wish for was there including treats for the dogs and a lovely welcome pack of scones, clotted cream and jam. The views were breathtaking and my husband made full use of the hot tub despite saying before we went he didn't like them. The beds were lovely and comfy and you didn't want to get out in a morning. I'd definitely recommend Beach View to anyone wanting a five star holiday.

Modern home set in a beautiful location. The views are stunning and do not disappoint. The house itself is equipped with everything you could want, very much a home away from home. Our only grumble was the lack of shade on the outside terrace. We were afforded wonderful weather during our stay but no umbrella or other shade was provided which meant the seating area outside was blasted with sun all day. Considering one of our party was recently diagnosed with skin cancer this made the balcony area unusable for the majority of the day.
