Four of were staying for a short golfing break. Excellent facilities for us with a bedroom each and a comfortable lounge. Location was very convenient for local courses and Woodhall Spa.
What a beautiful holiday home! There was so much space for the 7 of us, and a nice wide driveway to park my 9 seater van safely off the road. The property was very well appointed with everything we needed and more for a comfortable stay, from complimentary toiletries, to laundry and dishwasher essentials and the fabulous welcome basket with treats for all the family. The area itself is lovely and quiet, and we enjoyed sitting out in the garden. The basket in the living room with pamphlets of local attractions and places to eat was a great addition. We particularly enjoyed the Greek menu at the Royal Oak around the corner, and The Red Lion at Digby who serve huge portions of lovely, home cooked favourites. The reclining sofas in the lounge were super comfortable and a big hit with all the family, especially my Mum, who has recently undergone a knee replacement the spacious downstairs bedroom with ensuite was a big deciding factor for us for this reason too We had the best week away in Daisy Cottage and won't hesitate to return in the future. Thank you!
The accommodation was comfortable. We had leak from bath upstairs which meant couldnt use bed downstairs so had to sleep on sofa. Owner was quick to sort next day when house manager and plumber fixed the issue. It was something that owners couldnt have foreseen. Owner gifted us bottle of fizz and chocolates and offered us extra night but we couldnt stay. The Cottage was comfortable but but like previous reference states could do with some TLC both inside and outside back garden this would lift the property right up. It didnt retract from our stay as we enjoyed it but I would recommend the TLC. The area was perfect for lovely walks for us all and our dogs. Please dont be put off by the comments as would still recommend. Keith and Bev and family

The bungalow is great. Large space. Enjoyed the area and exploring Lincoln 20 minutes and the coast 1hr journey. The disapointment was the cleanliness of the kitchen. Oven cooker needs a deep clean due to the smell . We did not use it! and we could not use the toaster because of the cleanliness of that also. We brought one ourselves to use. It just needs replacing. We also had no where to sit in the kitchen. Large space. Just needs some stools to be able to sit at the island.

Before we arrived at Daisy Cottage we were warned that the cleaners may not be finished, through no fault of their own and when we arrived they were very apologetic but had nearly finished their work and would be leaving very soon so we could enjoy our holiday. Daisy Cottage itself is spotless and has a very well equipped kitchen. A lovely dining room and comfy sitting room and beds, We had a very relaxing holiday, taking short walks in the sunshine to the very friendly local pub and along the beck, but mostly we spent our time in the conservatory or sitting in the the lovely garden listening to the birds and hearing the distinctive sound of a woodpecker.

Daisy Cottage was the perfect location for the weekend away and a very reasonable cost. The contact before our arrival was good, with important information and updates given, The cottage itself is very homely, has plenty of crockery and pans, and the are sofas comfortable, though perhaps not enough seating if the cottage was fully occupied as per bed space. The things we would have liked which were absent were a washing up bowl, mirrors in the bedrooms none in the main bedroom upstairs, just one in the ensuite which would be good to have one for doing hairmakeup. A radio in the kitchen or dining room would have been nice too. We were told we could go through the back garden to get to the lane at the back but couldn't find a key well we did on the last day, on top of the fridge in the conservatory and couldn't find a way through from the front. It's a very clean and cosy place but the property is at the point where it could do with some timely maintenance and TLC, some of which will prevent further expenseissues such as the dishwasher door catches on the kickplate in the kitchen and it falls off, the boiler looses pressure within 4 hours the water must be going somewhere and has to be topped up to get heating which we did tell the cleaner and there were blinds that didn't work in the conservatory first mentioned in a review in July 2024 and bedrooms, broken curtain rails held up by string the owner told me they were aware of one and waiting to fix it and curtains which were no longer gathered and held up by a few hooks in the sitting room. These are little points, and perhaps picky and we did have a good weekend but it's the difference between an ok, good and excellent rating.
Myself and 5 others had a fantastic NYE getaway here at Daisy Cottage. It had everything we needed, big, well equipped and some lovely touches such as a mini hamper for the dogs and a very welcomed hamper for the humans! I had a courtesy textcall from Jacqui the night before who was extremely helpful with tips and tricks for the house itself and places around there to visit. We all had such a wonderful time and would definitely recommend!
We found the property comfortable but some issues compromised our overall rating. a Too much personal clutter. Although we appreciate this is a personal perspective we found for example multiple part used personal care left in the bathrooms. b Issues with maintenance and repair, dead light bulbs not replaced, missing rail at the top of the stairs, difficulty opening door to conservatory door.

Enjoyable stay within a sleepy village with easy access to Lincoln and surrounding towns. Village pub excellent serving Greek and English food every night. Cottage very spacious and comfortable in a quiet position includes a traditional dining room and lounge area.

The cottage was perfect for our needs, couldn't have wished for anything more! The village pub was also a great location for evening meals
Great stay! Beautiful home, so much room. Spent a lot on time in gorgeous garden. Owners were very accommodating to our needs. Highly recommend.
We had a good week at Daisy Cottage. It was clean and very comfortable. The garden could do with some TLC but it was ideal for the dogs, being totally secure. There are walks from the house and Scopwick is a lovely village. We would book again.
Lovely stay at Daisy Cottage which was clean and comfortable throughout. Kitchen was excellent and everything you could need was provided. Dogs loved the garden and we sat out every day using the really good garden furniture. Royal Oak 5 minutes walk was lovely for an evening drink and food was top class. Would highly recommend Daisy Cottage for a relaxing holiday.

Our stay at Daisy Cottage was amazing. Loved the little touches like the Welcome pack with Christmas goodies and toiletries in the bathrooms. It was decorated for Christmas and was very clean and warm. Would highly recommend as the location was brilliant for walks and even a trip to the Seaside. Thank you for a wonderful stay
Really enjoyed our stay, just wish it could have been longer.

This is a wonderful property, warm, cosy, clean and very comfortable. Great communication with the owners. Roms were beautiful and everything that was needed was provided. We will book again!
Dasiy Cottage was very warm, comfortable and well equipped. Lovely conservatory. We really enjoyed our stay as there is lots to do in the area, especially some nice walks. Only comment was that some bigger, thicker bath towels would have been nice.
Everything was as described and expected. The cottage was in a lovely position with great open views, a good sized, enclosed garden which would be lovely in the summer especially as there was a bbq available to use and outdoor furniture. It was very comfortable and cosy. There were a lot of books, games and dvds to keep everyone entertained. Would have been good to have some guides or local history books of the area as internet and phone signals were a little hit and miss. Can highly recommend the local pub for Sunday lunch. Great communication with owners before and afterwards too.

We have just returned from a few days away in Daisy cottage and can only say Fab U Lous. . Daisy cottage is just perfect. It is really comfortable and cosy. Spotlessly clean. It also had every piece of equipment in the kitchen you may need. There was a lovely welcome pack. Beds were so comfortable and I slept so well. I really didnt want to come home. A trip to the Royal Oak is a must! The food is to die for.
Just returned from 9 nights at Daisy Cottage. We really enjoyed our stay. Lovely comfortable lounge and separate dining room. Loved the sunroom which is ideally placed next to the kitchen. The cottage is extremely well equipped. Very comfortable beds. The enclosed garden was perfect. Fell in love with Scopwick which has numerous dog walking routes.
