Second stay at the Half Byre at Westfield. Gorgeous accommodation. Spacious, airy, elegant and relaxing atmosphere. Everything has been thought through so carefully. Super snug and cosy house for a winter break. Very convenient location to beaches and villages. We will be back in 2026.

This is a high-spec well designed barn conversion, with all the equipment and facilities one would ever need. The views out to sea are wonderful, the animals in the fields below the house delightful and thereâ??s always something to watch. Responses from the owner are quick and helpful.

The cottage is located in a very quiet position overlooking open countryside with a view of the sea and Bamburgh Castle in the distance. The cottage is very spacious well equipped, clean and comfortable. We would be happy to stay there again in the future.

This was the best accommodation we have stayed in. We regularly stay in cottages in the UK. This cottage was very well equipped it was like home from home. The attention to detail is brilliant. No expense has been spared with this property by the owners. Would definitely re visit this property.

A really enjoyable and relaxing stay, a peaceful location but still in walking distance to the beach, shops and pubs. The cottage is extremely spacious and has a modern look combined with a farm feel. It had everything we needed with plenty of parking. Overall good value, great location and we would stay again.

Our second stay at Half Byre and once again our stay was fabulous! We have found an absolute gem here. The accommodation is fantastic, spacious yet cosy, everything there has been finished to a very high stsndard. Most importantly everything is spotlessly clean and fresh. Can thoroughly recommend.

Elegant, spacious, relaxing accommodation with everything you could wish for. Gorgeous building and layout of rooms. Warm and cosy underfloor heating. Very comfortable beds. Quiet surrounds but everything near enough by car to reach all you could need.

If your looking for a luxury self catering property ,that has everything and more the byre is the place to go .the location is amazing ,very peacefull ,once seen never forgotten ,the best holiday we've had in Seahouses

This cottage had everything I could have hoped for. The garden has a flat area, but slope quite steeply, this may be an issue for small exitable children. The surrounding fields contained a variety of farm animals which were adorable from both outside and inside the cottage thanks to the beautiful large windows. The kitchen was massive and well equipped, the lounge had very comfortable furniture and the temperature was very comfortable. The bathrooms, great, but we found the water temperature in the showers a little on the hot side even at the coolest setting, this was not a problem for us, but may be for others; easily sort outable, I would think.

Our third visit to the Byrne and yet again everything was perfect. Thanks to the owner for looking after us.

The facilities are excellent. High quality fitments throughout. Beautiful decor. Spotlessly clean. There's everything you need. Beautiful views as well. We will come back!
