Seahouses is a working harbour village on the Northumberland coast. Pubs, shops and restaurants are just over 150 metres away. The sandy beach is 300 metres from the door. Dolphins visit the coastline regularly and on clear nights the aurora borealis is visible. Farne Islands boat trips depart from the harbour below for grey seals and puffins.

Bamburgh Castle is 3.5 miles along the coastal path. Beadnell Bay is 3 miles away for water sports and walks. The Farne Islands are accessible by boat from the harbour. Holy Island (Dog-Friendly 2-Bedroom Cottage with Parking in Seahouses) is approximately 12 miles north (25 minutes).
