For Families

This stay is not suitable for families with children. The property sleeps only 2 guests in one double bedroom with no additional sleeping arrangements. The steep stairs to the first floor could pose safety concerns for young children. The cottage is designed specifically as an adult couple's retreat rather than a family holiday home.

For Couples

Perfect for couples wanting a romantic coastal escape. The harbour front location provides ever-changing views of boats and seabirds. Watch sunsets from the wrap-around balcony with a glass of wine. The ground floor bedroom means no climbing stairs at night. Walk hand-in-hand to waterfront restaurants and pubs within minutes. The intimate size creates a cosy atmosphere for two.

Pet Friendly

The cottage does not accept pets of any kind. Dogs are not permitted at this property under any circumstances. The strict no-pets policy applies to all guests regardless of dog size or temperament. If you're travelling with a dog, you'll need to find alternative accommodation in the Seahouses area that welcomes four-legged guests.

David

Will definitely book up for next year. Wonderful accommodation in a beautiful part of the world. Would highly recommend it.

Debbie

The location is unbeatable - the views are amazing and the balcony was wonderful for the early morning sun. Well equipped and a great size for 2 people. Shower has good water pressure. Really good to have parking. We have already booked to return, and have passed the details to friends!

Graham

Not a cottage for those who want to spend a significant time indoors, which is a shame because the view is worth seeing.

Anthony

We really enjoyed our stay at Oar House. It's in a great spot with a good parking space. Very quiet and peaceful. We'd be more than happy to have an opportunity to return.

Paula

Wonderful location for the boat trips to the Farne islands and for walking along the coastal path. Cottage was well equipped and the views over the harbour superb! Just loved watching the tides and wildlife. Only problem was that we didnâ??t find the bed comfortable.

Patricia

The location of this property was excellent, overlooking the harbour at Seahouses where there was always something going on.. The furnishings were of a high quality as was the kitchen equipment. The shower also was very efficient and spacious.

Mike

Superb location with private parking and close to town and retaurants

Mark

Absolutely great location and stunning views of the Harbour and Farne Islands - I had a spotting scope looking out to see and could make out the clouds of puffins around inner Farne!!

Marlene

A comfortable cottage for an off season week. We'll appointed and in an ideal situation. Handy for shops and public transport. I never tired of the view over the harbour from the large windows.

Julie

Well placed apartment with wonderful views of the harbour and your own parking space.

Alan

Very bright airy cottage with the most fabulous sea views. Quiet and pleasant location handy for eating out and visiting all loocal attractions. Car parking at the door an advantage. Stairs to first floor living area rather steep for older occupants. Spacious bedroom with very comfortable bed and fitted wardrobe. Nice bathroom with good size shower. Handy Hall way for coats shoes boots etc.

Ray

Shame there was no fire working. Good location. Someone else had used the dustbin for No16, 1-Bedroom Cottage with Sea Views in Seahouses. So we had to take our rubbish to public bins.

Daniel

Lovely cottage in a fantastic location. Very clean and well furnished. Good for a longer break. Would happily return for a other stay in the future.

Nigel

Lovely clean cottage in an excellent location, handy for everything Seahouses has to offer. Lovely view from the lounge. Car parking a plus.

Susan

Great location for exploring the local area and plenty of places to eat within walking distance
