The Cottage At Seahouses is a stone-built holiday home in Northumberland that sleeps eight guests across five bedrooms. Set just 80 metres from the beach, this property sits back from the coastal road between Seahouses village and the stunning Heritage Coast. The cottage features three bathrooms and private parking for four cars.

Seahouses is a working fishing village with shops, pubs and restaurants within half a mile. The beach is moments away. Bamburgh Castle stands 3 miles north. Holy Island lies 19 miles along the coast.

Accommodation includes a super-king zip-and-link bedroom (converts to twin), one double, one twin with Cheviot Hills views and two singles with garden and sea views. Three shower rooms serve the property. The kitchen has an electric cooker, large fridge/freezer, dishwasher and coffee machine. A utility room houses the washer/dryer.

The cottage welcomes two dogs and has a massive rear garden with furniture and a small charcoal BBQ. A wood burner warms the living space.

It's a short easy walk into Seahouses and there is loads of parking on the drive. As three generations, we spent a wonderful five days in this well-equipped and spacious house celebrating my 70th birthday. The location is stunning with views out to sea and the Farne Islands. The huge back garden was an idyll for our granddaughters, flying their kite, playing badminton (brought their own set), or using the play equipment - they referred to it as a field!! We were so close to the beach, we could carry coffee & books across the road to one of the benches looking out to sea. We particularly liked the seats in the bay windows too - and there was often a rush to claim them! The photographs and history of the house were very interesting and it is clearly a well-loved family home. It was our first visit to Northumberland and the stunning countryside and friendly people have ensured it most definitely will not be our last.

The Cottage is absolutely fabulous, probably the best we have every stayed in over the years. It's location, spaciousness, abundance of quality fittings throughout the entire property in kitchen / bathrooms / lounge / dining room and even outside were very good indeed. It was nice to so close to the village centre and also good to have a big outside space especially considering we had 3 cars for our party of eight. Loads of nearby attractions within a very short drive and a fabulous beach just across the road where you can walk the three miles up to Bamburgh Castle at low tide, The garden was a tiny bit disappointing as although it was huge it lacked planting - maybe that's because of the coastal locations and strong winds plus dedicated maintenance needed, but may a few shrubs in pots would make it slightly less austere? We would love to stay at this property again when we get the chance to visit this fantastic area again.

You can lie in bed and listen to the sea! Weâ??ve stayed here many times and love it. As the weather can be a bit unpredictable, itâ??s also worth mentioning the lovely sitting area in the kitchen that looks out over the beach.
