It was the cutest little cottage, cosy and the kitchen had all the equipment you could want. At night its really dark outside which is amazing for seeing the stars on clear nights. Perfectly located for some good walks as well.

What a lovely little place, so cosy and the enclosed garden is an added plus for the dogs. The bed was so comfy too.

We booked into The Forge over Christmas for 3 nights. The Forge is such a charming little cottage with everything you need. On arrival there was a greeting hamper and card left by the owner, wishing us a Merry Christmas. Unfortunately we had a problem with the electricity, but a phone call from the owner Trisha, had us move into The Smithy next door. Another lovely property. We had a wonderful stay in 2 beautiful properties. We will definitely return.
No logs for the log burner said they were in the shed but nothing in the shed ... No logs for the log burner said they were in the shed but nothing in the shed had to buy my own freezing when we went in they could have put the heating on for us getting there very cold had a power cut while we were there off for about half hour apart from that lovely place little bit small but would stay there again
We had a wonderful stay! Very easy to book and the property was a lovely size, comfortable, and very quiet, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The kitchen was wellequipped with everything we needed to selfcater easily, which made our stay feel just like home. Everything was clean, tidy, and thoughtfully arranged. We really appreciated the peaceful surroundings and would happily stay here again. Highly recommend!

We were impressed that you gave access to extra TV channels via your own accounts. We would highly recommend this for anyone to escape the hum drum even if its only for a few days On a final note, it was really nice of them to pre warm the property, and provide the snacks and wine

The Forge is small but very comfortable it has all you need to have a enjoyable holiday, and thought as gone into msking full use of the space. The enclosed garden was great as dogs could play safely outside, we had a lovely welcome pack waiting. The Forge is great for visiting local areas with Beadnell beach a only 10 minutes away.

Lovely cottage. Very cosy. Great views over fields with horses as neighbours. So quiet. Ideally placed for exploring all that the Northumberland coastline has to offer.
Nice welcome pack. Directions could be better, had to contact owner as not clear. Garden secure for dogs and enjoyed by them. Space around bed limited would be difficult if you have mobilities problems. Very central for for visiting different areas. Property could do with some scales and had internet problems. Book for instructions needs updating ie where the bins are situated.
