Curtains and blinds broken. Banister on main staircase loose not safe especially for children. Basic provisions 1 toilet roll and no hand soap. Frying pan warped so did not connect to make hob work. Good central location and noise mentioned in other reviews did not affect us.

This three bedroom flat is ideally located for a short break. Clean, spacious and well equipped. We have stayed here a few times and have been very happy with this flat, however this year we were disappointed that access to the Ocean Club was no longer included as this was part of the appeal for us. The COOP opposite has never been a problem but can be quite noisy early doors as a bit of a warning.

This is our second stay at Coastal Haven. Love the location Perfectly placed for the beach shops pubs and restaurants. The rooms are large and very comfortable There is everything you need .

A well positioned apartment in the main high street with good off road parking. Ideal for the coop which is just over the road . Good positioning for walks to Bamburgh Castle approximately 3.5 miles and Beadnell Bay approximately 1.5 miles. Bus service is available but only a few buses per day. Fish and chips from Neptunes restaurant were delicious and very good portions. The Bamburgh Castle Hotel food was excellent although service at busy times was a little slow . The only downside of Coastal Heaven apartment was that in the main bedroom the curtains need to be lined with blackout lining , with there being a street light directing outside of the bedroom window shining in all night it was very difficult to get a goodnight sleep . Apart from this a very well spacious and comfortable apartment.

The property is in an ideal location and very nice in itself and we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday, however there are a few issues we encountered on our stay which didnt ruin the holiday for us but did cause inconveniences. Firstly the good things about this apartment is its very spacious, has literally everything you need when it comes to having an enjoyable and convenient holiday. Its VERY spacious, the beds are huge and very comfortable. Right in the heart of seahouses and all amenities are accessible within a 5 minute walk. All kitchen amenities you could need Integrated fridge freezer, washerdryer, microwave, oven, spacious counter tops. There were a few cons Firstly the doors throughout the apartment dont shut properly, either they dont shut at all or they get stuck on the frame of the latch just doesnt work, which we had a 1 year old who had access to the tap in the bathroom which was abit of a risk for us. However we were out for the majority of the time so not a huge issue but is a safety risk and should be adressed. Secondly the shower was blocked and kept leaking within 5 minutes of the shower being on which was a bit of an inconvenience with us having several beach days, i did take apart the plug and clean it out and it had lots of built up hair and gunk which should be cleaned ready for arrival. There wasnt a mop for us to clean the toilet, bathroom and kitchen, understandably the cleaners will have this equipment but we like to clean up after ourselves and struggled without a mop, and also the hoover wasnt very strong and with the wire being only a few meters lo no we had to plug it in to several plugs to be able to cover the full apartment. Outside noise, my wife struggled to sleep due to the amount of noise the windows allow through, triple glazed windows would reduce the noise that does get through. The tv remote for the main tv kept stopping working and starting again which wasnt a dealbreaker as we only wanted the tv on for the baby to keep her occupied during meals etc so not a huge issue but something that shouldnt be an issue. The childrens bedroom window had quite alot of dead flies on there so didnt seem as if it was cleaned adequately. The microwave when we used it to heat babies bottles started to smoke which seemed like abit of a safety risk so we used pans instead. The carpets in majority of rooms was full of dog hairs and when kids were on floor playing ended up covered in dog hairs, i understand the apartment is pet friendly but there should be some attempt to clear as much as possible because it took 3 wash cycles to get the dog hairs out. Just a disclaimer that these issues would not stop us returning and this is a lovely apartment for all manners of guests to stay and i would recommend people to look into staying, but for these issues to be appropriately addressed i needed to bring them to attention. We would be more than happy to return hopefully to these issues being addressed and sorted. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will most likely come back, as said the above issues werent dealbreakers for us it is a very lovely apartment.

This was just what we wanted and needed right on the main street all the shops, restaurants and pubs were in a 5 minute walk from the cottage the cottage was clean, comfortable, spacious and well equipped.

Lovely property in a good location at a sensible price. Overall it could only be faulted on one issue the curtainsblinds weren't substantial enough to keep out the bright sunny days we have had. Difficult to sleep beyond 6am.

Really enjoyed staying at the property. The space was great and facilities good. Sofas and beds really comfortable, good to have a proper dining table. Kitchen well equipped and we weren't disturbed by outside noise. Location was great and having 2 parking spaces was good.

Great flat. So spacious and in a super position.

Lovely apartment. Clean and all facilities. In a handy spot with parking too. The downside is that it's very noisy from 5.30 in the morning . Coop opersite open from 7 until 10 and lots of cars left with engines running directly under bedroom windows. Could do with triple glazing to cut out noise as closing windows had little effect. Downside of this was that it made bedrooms too hot.Street lamp directly outside bedrooms too and curtains too thin to block out light. Rooms lit up all night so difficult to sleep.

Apartment was clean, warm & comfortable. I dont think the list mentioned hairdryer but there was one in bedroom. Could have done with a clothes airer as nowhere to dry anything. Location was great and as we expected. Some thought should be given as to somewhere to put make up on, dry hair etc but thats being picky. Overall everything was good.

Good central location but a long walk to the beach. Off street parking for 2 cars. Well equipped kitchen but the bathroom and toilet are dated. Clean and tidy apartment with comfy beds.

Our stay in the coastal haven was perfect, a lovely spacious clean property. It was home from home with everything possible provided & well maintained. Set in an ideal location allowed us to enjoy seahouses & explore further afield.

Excellent property. Great space, beds were very comfortable, and all round great facilities. Only thing that could have improved our stay was if there was a stair gate at the top of the stairs. Plus having two keys! Overall, we loved the property and the location. Would highly recommend!

Very spacious property in the centre of town close to shops, restaurants and beach. Windows above the street but didnt hear any noise through the night. Clean and modern kitchen and bathroom. Would have liked information leaflets on the area i.e. bus timetables, places to visit, whats on as there is no tourist information in Seahouses.

Second stay here because the location and space is fantastic. Beds comfortable and spotlessly clean. Just a few things need sorting... The switch on the kettle is broken, still working but needs replacing. TV in sitting room had funny blotches over the screen. Admittedly we don't travel to Seahouses to watch TV but not really 4 star standard. Also pillows seen better days. Love the flat and will stay again. It just feels a little unloved.

Would be nice to have had coat hooks and a shoe rack down stairs. Otherwise it was perfect .

This was our second stay at Coastal Haven. Fantastic location with offroad parking, we only used the car a couple of times. The apartment itself is very comfortable, but could benefit from a lick of paint. Coop is directly opposite so nice and handy but be warned deliveries during the week early morning can be an unwelcome wake up. This wouldnt put us off visiting again as the location is spot on, centre of Seahouses, great for walks either way towards Beadnell or Bamburgh and handy for the bus stop. Also no issues at all with WIFI as other reviews had mentioned, would come again!

Nicely furnished but lacked 'welcome'. The fooddrink pack was adequate but no soap pawder for the washing machine, no liquid soap and separate towel in the bathroom and winter weight duvets on the single and king beds and the separated king bed had king duvets doubled and put into single covers!! Visitors do not want to spend their first evening remaking beds. The owner appears more interested in hisher profit than their visitors comfort & enjoyment. The office staff and cleaning team were a delight to meet and do an exellent job.

We enjoyed our stay at Coastal Haven, and found the property to be of a very satisfactory standard, the reason we have gave 3 for cleanliness is that some of the dishes in cupboard hadn't been washed properly and were still covered in food,maybe this needs checked in the future.

Property comfortable but needs a coat of paint internally, wall heater in lounge not working but a spare was available. Price reasonable though.

The property has recently changed hands and there were some teething problems. Some of my requests hadn't been received and it took 3 days to get the wifi working properly. Also some small maintenance issues. But otherwise a cosy, spacious and pleasant place to stay in and I would recommend it. Beautiful area with stunning coastline.

A very spacious three bedroom property in the centre of Seahouse. A well equipped kitchen and good quality bed linen and towels.

Coastal Haven is the perfect property to rent for a holiday in Seahouses lovely rooms with space to move about, good beds and a view of the castle and the sunset, plus, being so near to shops and bus stops it was just the easiest place to be.

The house was very clean and a lot bigger than I thought. The location could not have been better. My 7 yr old niece did not want to come home, thank you for a lovely stay
