We were extremely dismayed to find that the cottage had not been cleaned following the departure of the previous occupants. Used towels and bedding were still present, and the overall state of the accommodation was unacceptable. I phoned the â??on holidayâ?? emergency line at 5:20 PM as soon as I arrived at the property and was assured that someone would attend to the matter that evening. Unfortunately, no one arrived. As a result, we were forced to sleep in stripped beds with no clean towels available for washing. When the property was cleaned the next day it was done to a high standard. â?¢ Response from holidaycottages.co.uk: Thank you for your review. We can confirm that we have discussed the issue with the cleaner the issue has now been resolved.
