The cottage is comfortable and in a good location, being less than a minute from the harbour wall. It was delightfully quiet, with the sound of seagulls and sparrows being the main sound. We stayed in October and were able to park in the courtyard each day but I imagine parking in the summer could be challenging. Although the kitchen is well equipped in some respects, the oven, hob and microwave seem pretty dated, as though the assumption is that you won't be cooking full meals there. It was a good base, from which we enjoyed exploring the beautiful surrounding countryside.

Comfortable, spacious enough for two individuals, shame about the log burner not fit for use. Reply from HolidayCottages.co.uk: Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback on your stay, I can confirm a replacement handle for the wood burner has now been installed and is now fully operational.

Clean, cosy and comfortable. Also well equipped
Laura
Fantastic location, we loved taking a morning cuppa or evening tipple to the benches at the end of the road overlooking the harbour! Well equipped and comfortable cottage which the photos didn't do justice. Would highly recommend!

The cottage is beautiful, very clean and in an ideal location close to the harbour and a short walk from the town centre. It has a well equipped kitchen and there is a good selection of games and books for children. I would definitely stay here again .

We have holidayed in Seahouses many times before, but this was the first time we had rented this cottage and it is the nicest one we have stayed at. It is perfectly situated - the harbour is literally round the corner - and pubs, shops, boat rides, the Co Op, bus stops to Craster, Alnwick, Berwick etc. are all 5 minutes away. The cottage was clean, comfortable and nicely furnished with three bedrooms that can sleep up to 5. It was very quiet at night and everyone slept very well while we were there. We didn't cook during the holiday, but the kitchen has everything you'd need if you were spending the evening in. We didn't have a car but there is space for one if you are driving. All bed linen and towels are provided, which was excellent. We have stayed in cottages that didn't provide towels and it's a pain lugging them up in suitcases (especially when you're travelling by train). We had a fabulous week and we will certainly be renting this cottage again.

Cottage is in a great quiet location but only minutes from the harbour, shops and pubs. Has a nice characterful feel and we found it to be clean & well equipped. Re parking - we have an Astra Estate and did not have a problem parking it (with care). We stayed for two weeks and went out most days in the car and always had a space to come back to. We enjoyed the cottage and Seahouses so much that we have booked again for next year.

3 generations had a good time at the cottage, enough space but cosy and the seating area by the back door was a bonus in the afternoon sunshine
Julia
Really comfortable beds, tastefully and simply decorated, liked the local pictures and ornaments, great location for boat trips. Were regulars on the benches overlooking the harbour with a cuppa made at the property.
Kerry
Absolutely loved the cottage - location, furniture, cosy feel. Kitchen was pretty well stocked with equipment. Comfy beds.
Richard
Fantastic location let down by a tired property.
Stephen
Nice property in a good location - though parking can be a bit awkward - it was ideal for our short stay.

Lovely cottage with a lot of extras. Kitchen utensils, few bits in stock cupboard and board games all not expected. A lot of the cottage is tired and could do with some paint Cottage nicely situated along top, over looks harbour if look window.
Rachel
Location is great, close to everything. Seahouses is lovely. However, the property had insufficient room to park our estate car and nowhere suitable nearby.
Simon
Lovely cottage, a little tired inside, feels as if it needs repainting now. Parking - instructions were to park outside the front door - which one would assume was on the street. Alas it is at the back of the house through a very tight 'tunnel archway' so if you have a largish car this is very tight to get in and once in the courtyard area there are other cars parked from the neighbouring cottages
Carl
Good location unfortunately would benefit from decorating updating and general attention to detail poor for parking
Philip
A well equipped comfortable cottage in a lovely location yards from the harbour.
Yvonne
This cottage is ideally situated by the harbour with easy access to the beaches. Itâ??s in a quiet location with local pubs, restaurants and supermarket on your doorstep. Quite the best fish and chips and great ice cream yoo.
