For Families
The top-floor games room with full-size pool table and Xbox keeps children entertained. The bunk room has full-size beds suitable for kids. Seahouses beach is one mile away for sandcastle building and rock pooling. Boat trips to the Farne Islands leave from the harbour. Bamburgh Castle offers exploration opportunities. The enclosed patio garden provides safe outdoor space.
For Couples
This property is better suited to families and groups rather than couples alone. The four-bedroom layout and eight-person capacity make it too large for a romantic break. Couples would find smaller properties more intimate and better value. The games room and bunk beds are designed for family entertainment rather than romantic getaways.
Pet Friendly
No 1 Twin Palms does not accept pets. Dogs are not allowed at this property under any circumstances. The accommodation operates a strict no-pets policy. If you're travelling with a dog, you'll need to find alternative accommodation in the Seahouses area. Many other properties in Northumberland do welcome pets, so it's worth searching for pet-friendly options.

No 1 Twin Palms Reviews

Judith
We really enjoyed our stay at Twin Palms. The property is spacious and comfortable and well equipped. There were a couple of appliances not working but this was just a minor irritation. The house is in a great location, just a short walk to shops and restaurants. We would happily stay here again. Reply from holidaycottages.co.uk: Thank you for your feedback and we are so glad you enjoyed your stay! We are looking into repairing and replacing the broken items.
Jill
Nice size property and in good location.
Julie
Lovely well equipped spacious house. Great pool table in the loft room. Good location for exploring and would recommend.
Louise
Lovely property, our third time staying here. Great location for exploring and a beautiful house, lots of space and home comforts.
Kay
We have stayed in this property on two occasions and we love it. It is very comfortable, well equipped and in a lovely quiet location. The beds and bed linen make for a good nights sleep.
Julie
Loved our week in this property Everything we needed for a family holiday and great location. I would say that the bunk room was not suitable for adults but would be great for children
Lesley
Very comfortable and spacious, equipped with everything you need and more. Lovely location.
Amanda
Lovely clean house and situated in a lovely area
David
The house is modern but there are many aspects which weren't particularly appealing. Weeds are growing throughout the paved patio area and around the front door. Whilst it was generally clean, the toilet brush holders were soiled, The pans were mostly all piled together in one or two large drawers making it difficult to find things. I would give the overall rating as average and expensive for the standard being delivered. It was a spacious house and well located but we were was slightly disappointed overall.
Lesley
Lovely house ideal spot. Nice walk into Seahouses
Catherine
Great location and spacious property.
Kay
This was our first stay in this property and we were really impressed with the cleanliness and comfort. It's located in a quite area of Seahouses, about a seven minute walk into town. The beds were comfortable, the bedding and towels of a good quality and the kitchen was well equipped. It is a house we shall definitely use again.
Sandra
Lovely spacious property in a good location. The property was clean and comfortable and great for four couples to spend a week. Nice comfy beds, nice bed linen, good showers and plenty of space to relax in the evenings. Also good Wi-Fi in the property. A 10/15minute walk takes you into the centre of Seahouses where there is a supermarket and a lovely harbour. The property is in an ideal location for exploring the coastline and castles. About a thirty minute drive from Alnwick, Warkworth, Holy Island and Berwick on Tweed to name a few of the places we visited.
Louise
Great place to stay with family. A lovely location, with fabulous views. Accommodation has lots of equipment to make stay comfortable as well as the upstairs room for games. We will definitely be back again!
Nigel
Lovely property and good location. Issues with missing light bulbs and broken extractor fan . But a good holiday was had by us all
Susan
We had a great holiday. The house is plenty big enough and well equipped from hair driers to board games. It is only a short walk into Seahouses and a short drive to Bamburgh. The pool table was great fun and the Xbox was used up in the games room to.. A barbecue would be lovely .
Karen
A fab week in a well equipped home. Probably the best equipped kitchen! The top floor was very welcome, and a lovely place to chill out. Comfy beds and lots of space for the family, Quiet location, great days out without travelling very far, Bamburgh (a lovely walk), Alnwick Castle and great boat trips from the harbour, and the beaches We hope to return soon
Margaret
This is a very well equipped, comfortable and modern property. We are regular visitors to the area but have not stayed with Original Cottages before. Ease of booking and communicating is on a par with other big holiday let organisations.
Peter
Lovely location near the riding stables , short easy walk into Seahouses . Quiet location .
