Great location, stunning property, and beautiful views. The house had everything and was perfect for our party to celebrate a friends birthday.

the property was deceptively large with plenty of public space - all the bedrooms were a good size. Position was great - pub next door (excellent food) ,beach access 100 yrds, Seahouses shops 100yrds. garden secure for the dog (Spaniel) . I would stay again.

A lovely well appointed house right on the seafront in the pretty town of Seahouses. Ideal for walking to Bamburgh Castle or taking a boat trip out to the Farne Islands. We had a lovely three days in very comfortable surroundings. The beds are fabulous... we all slept really well. Definitely recommend.

This property needs to be stayed in, donâ??t hesitate book it!! Brilliantly equipped, luxury furnishings, beds are super comfortable and lots of space. The location is perfect for Seahouses and beach walks. This is the best family sized property we have stayed in. In a word â?? Fantasticâ?!!

An amazing beautiful property to stay in .We came as a family of 12 to stay for my 60th birthday. Everything perfect with a stunning location. Would definitely recommend & would come & stay here again .

Lovely, well equipped house with good quality soft furnishings and bedding. Very clean and comfortable property within a few minutes walk of the facilities in Seahouses. Was relaxing going to sleep listening to the waves hitting the beach and to be able to look out the window and see the Farne Islands and Bamburgh Castle. A great location.

Three generations of our family have just returned from spending two weeks at Sandsend for my husband's 80th birthday. It is a beautiful house and we have loved every minute of our stay . The house is in a fantastic position just opposite the sea and 5 mins from the centre of Seahouses. It is equipped with everything one could possibly need. An amazing house.

We were a family of 3 generations and we all loved Sandsend. Proximity to Seahouses and the beach was excellent. Beautiful house in a great location.

Lovely, comfortable and well equipped house with amazing views. Perfect for a family group with enough space for everyone. Close to the beach and to the town. The dolphins just off shore as we arrived were an added bonus!

Beautiful place. View to die for . Quite blustery as to be expected on the coast. Few estate problems quickly sorted and no impediment on the holiday. Would definitely return.

Excellent facilities. Bar next door and the main part of Seahouses a couple of hundred yards away. My kids and their spouses loved it so much I've booked it again for next year.

Excellent accommodation in a perfect location. Next door to a beautiful restaurant ( Old Buoy Inn, newly opened in March 2025 ). Very peaceful with spectacular views. Very spacious rooms. Amenities nearby and only a 2 minute walk to bars , restaurants and harbour.

An amazing house in a beautiful location. The house was so well equipped, plenty of crockery and glasses. Space to spread out into different rooms was useful. It was great to have a formal dining room. I has a very happy 60th birthday celebration there and would return there without hesitation.

This is a wonderful home in a stunning location. The decor is exceptional - comfortable and stylish with lots of space and amazing views from every window. Kitchen equipment is of very good quality. Our two dogs were safe in the enclosed back garden and enjoyed their warm shower when they returned from the beach. It was a lovely home away from home and we will certainly be back

The cottage was perfect for our big family gathering for my dadâ??s 80th birthday. The views from the property are amazing & itâ??s just a very short walk away from the local pubs & attractions of Seahouses. Thank you for making our stay extra special with the beautiful welcome tray :)

Brilliant location and very comfortable house with high class specs ideal for families

We booked the accommodation for our annual getaway (6 of us) and we couldnâ??t have picked a more perfect house. It has EVERYTHING you could possibly need for a superb stay. Itâ??s beautifully styled, the linen and towels are exquisite and the whole place was spotless. We took fabulous walks up and down the coast on beautiful beaches and ate/drank in lovely friendly hostalries. The addition of a hot/cold dog shower at the back door was well received too. There are stunning views from every window too. 3 beautiful bathrooms and a downstairs WC were tastefully styled and ideally situated. Thank you for the best short stay ever. Weâ??re already looking at dates for a return trip!

The house was beautiful. Every room was beautifully decorated and very well equipped. We honestly couldnâ??t fault it. It is in an ideal location and the views are wonderful.

Fantastic property in a great location.

We spent New Year here as a large family group, the house was perfect for us. Itâ??s cozy, beautifully decorated throughout and very well equipped. As well as a fabulous large living and dining room that accommodates the whole group, there are a couple of other social spaces so the group can split up as well. The views from all windows are fabulous and we had the best viewing spot in Seahouses for the New Year fireworks from the harbour! We had such a lovely stay and hope to be back.

Me and my family had the best time at this beautiful house. The location is perfect, opposite the beach with beautiful views of Bamburgh castle and a very short walk to the shops/pubs etc. The house is perfect for large groups with enough shared and separate space to feel comfortable. The house has everything you need, a fully equipped kitchen and utility room, reliable WiFi, kids games/toys and books/local recommendations. The house is warm and comfortable, spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated (the Christmas tree and decorations really topped this off). I can genuinely say we wouldnâ??t change anything, we had the best time and would love to come back and stay!

This was the perfect accommodation for our family get together, a beautiful house in a superb location. We wouldnâ??t hesitate to stay again and thank the owners for providing everything we could possibly need and more.

A really beautiful house in a great location. A few minor maintenance niggles but if you are a large group looking for somewhere near the sea with plenty of room to spread out, we would highly recommend this house.

The house is beautiful and very comfortable, all the rooms spacious and tastefully decorated. There was a generous welcome pack on arrival which we appreciated. We had a bit of a problem with the dishwasher filter but called Original Cottages and they sent someone out the next day to sort it. The location of the house is perfect for exploring the coastal area, with magnificent views over to Bamburgh castle and out to sea. All in all, a wonderful base for a Northumberland holiday.
