About The Coracle

The Coracle is a traditional fisherman's cottage in the old part of Seahouses village on the Northumberland coast. Batten doors and a stonework hearth with a woodburner give it real character. This is an end-terrace property that sleeps four and sits just a short stroll from the harbour.

Seahouses is a working seaside village with a proper harbour. You can walk to a pub or restaurant in under five minutes. The Northumberland Heritage Coastline is right on your doorstep - golden beaches and fresh air in every direction.

The cottage sleeps four across two bedrooms a double bedroom with a 4ft 6in bed and a bunk bedroom with two 3ft beds. There's one shower room with a cubicle and toilet. The living room has a Freeview TV, DVD player and dining area. Wi-Fi and bed linen are included. Up to two pets are welcome, though charges apply.

Boat trips from Seahouses harbour to the Farne Islands to see puffins run regularly (0.3 miles, 5 mins). Bamburgh Castle and its famous beach are 5 miles north (10 mins). Alnwick Castle is 16 miles away (25 mins). Holy Island (Lindisfarne) is 14 miles north (20 mins).
