Hexham Cottage is a newly refurbished three-bedroom coastal cottage in Seahouses, Northumberland. Totally transformed with stylish, well-coordinated furnishings throughout, this spacious property sits at the end of a single lane just a short walk from the harbour of this traditional fishing port on the North Northumberland coast.

Seahouses is a working fishing village with real character. The harbour is on your doorstep. Boat trips to the Farne Islands leave from here famous for puffins, seabirds and a large seal colony. A shop, pub and restaurant are just 100 yards away. Horse riding can be arranged a mile away and there's a golf links close by too.

The cottage sleeps six across three bedrooms: two double rooms with 4ft 6in beds and one bunk room with a 3ft bunk bed. There's one bathroom on the first floor with a bath and shower over. The ground floor has a lounge with TV and a wood burning stove, a kitchen-diner with electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge-freezer and dishwasher plus a utility room with washing machine.

Bamburgh Castle is three miles north (8 minutes). The Grace Darling Museum is also in Bamburgh. The Farne Islands boat trips depart from Seahouses harbour. Alnwick Castle is roughly 16 miles south (25 minutes).

Pets welcome (up to two) and the location is unbeatable. Hexham Cottage is ideal for families or groups who want a proper coastal base with everything within walking distance.
