The Strand Cottage is a single-storey detached cottage in Seahouses, Northumberland, sitting within 100 metres of the sea. The coastal path starts right from the doorstep, heading north to Bamburgh Castle and south to Beadnell Bay.
Seahouses is a working harbour village with shops, pubs and restaurants all within half a mile. Boat trips to the Farne Islands leave from the harbour, where you can spot puffins and grey seals. The south-facing enclosed courtyard garden lets you sit outside and hear the sea.

Bamburgh Castle is 2.5 miles away. Alnwick Castle and The Alnwick Garden are within 16 miles. Dunstanburgh Castle and Howick Hall Gardens are also within easy reach. Private parking for up to three cars is available at the front.
