Excellent location as only a short walk to Seahouses Harbour area. The property was ok for cleanliness and comfort but in places looking a bit tired. Garden was good and very secure for dogs. There was plenty of kitchen equipment but somethings like plates and bowls could do with replacing due to general wear and tear. There were a number of minor maintenance issues that I left for the attention of the owner upon leaving so hopefully they will be resolved soon. But they did not overall spoil our stay there.

Godetia cottage was the perfect base to visit Northumberland. It was near the shops and restaurants in Seahouses with Bamburgh a few miles down the road. The accommodation was single level which is perfect for someone with disabilities. It was comfortable but did need some of the furniture in the lounge sofas updating. We loved staying here. The garden was perfect for a dog as its enclosed. And its close to the beach. I would recommend staying here!

It was a nice property It need some jobs doing and wasnt the cleanest we have been to but overall stay was good

Many positives but found the space difficult for 6 people. The kitchen which had the dining table is extremely cramped. We were lucky with the weather and ate outside most days. Shower is either cold or red hot so I wouldnt let my granddaughter use it and she used the bath. The door out onto the path at the back of the house is not secure The door can be opened without a key We made the gardener aware of this and he was going to sort this.

A very comfortable bungalow only a short walk to the centre of Seahouses, approx 600 yards. Only used the one bedroom as it was only my wife and I but the bed was very comfortable and allowed us to get a good sleep. If you stay and there are several of you, best not have a bathroom hogger as there is only the one toilet but good to have a shower and a bath as I prefer a shower and the wife a bath. There was a nice set of garden furniture to use but unfortunately the weather was not on our side for that. Internet coverage was good in all rooms and the kitchen was very well stocked with crockery, pans, cutlery etc. Used the cooker, oven, kettle, microwave and toaster all good but the kettle was quite slow. There were some DVDs but nothing to play them on? Overall I would recommend Godetia cottage as a great place to use for a base to explore the area.

Really nice accommodation , close enough to centre for convenience but not too close for the traffic. Rooms very clean and comfortable , kitchen had everything we needed . Only thing to comment on was the main room DVD player didn't work but this wasn't anything to spoil a holiday. Would definitely return and recommend to all.

The accommodation was exceptionally clean and very comfortable. It was very well equipped should you want to eat in and the garden was spacious, enclosed and ideal for families.

First time in Northumberland and this was the perfect property in the perfect location. Such a nice clean and comfy home with great secure garden for the dogs. Can walk into Seahouses centre in a couple of minutes and there's everything you could need. Great all round.

The property is located in an ideal position. Also a very well equipped kitchen. The totally dog safe and practical back garden much appreciated. An unfortunate problem with our asthmatic granddaughters bedding did mar the beginning two days but the problem was resolved with new linens the next morning.

The location is amazing would definitely stay again
