Mayflower Cottage is a spacious six-bedroom seaside cottage on the outskirts of Seahouses in Northumberland. It sleeps 12 and sits in a leafy neighbourhood with golden sands just 500 metres away. The cottage is well-designed with luxurious details throughout and works brilliantly for large family gatherings or groups of friends.

Seahouses is a working coastal village with real character. The harbour is 900 metres away where you can board a boat to the Farne Islands to see puffins and grey seals. The village centre with cafes and seafood restaurants is just 500 metres from the door. A coastal path leads three miles to Bamburgh and its clifftop castle.

Six bedrooms sleep 12 across three floors. The first floor has two king rooms (one with an en-suite shower room) plus a twin and a bunk room. The second floor has a king room and a children's single. Three bathrooms serve the whole group.

Bamburgh Castle (3 miles) and the Farne Islands boat trips (900m to harbour) are the standout local attractions. Alnwick Castle is around 16 miles north. Holy Island is roughly 20 miles away. Note: this property does not have a hot tub.
